Meet our Staff
Art Supply
Linda is the owner of the art materials division of the Art Supply House. She moved here 16 years ago from Albuquerque with her husband and four children. In 2003 she had the idea that Durango could use a quality art supply store and went about making that happen. Her main areas of interest are watercolor and drawing.
Liz has been in Durango a little over 2 years and started working at the Art Supply House shortly after she moved her from New Jersey. She herself is a professional oil painter. Pastel, acrylic and drawing are also mediums at which she is quite proficient. She has worked hard to know every product in the store.
Bob has been a resident of Durango for 30 years and an employee of the Arts Supply House for past 3 years. He loves the process of working with art materials and techniques by exploring the possibilities.
Suzanne was born and raised in Durango. Her main area of focus is Prismacolor pencil drawings. She dabbles with other art materials. She offers her humble art experience and a love of art which she encourages all to get involved in the creative process.
Framing Division
Chris is the owner of the framing division of the Art Supply House. Shortly after opening the art materials division of the Art Supply House the framing division was added due to the request of community. It has been a natural compliment to the art materials. He is excellent at designing the perfect frame package for your image, treasured memorabilia or photo. He believes in quality service and customer satisfaction.
Melissa has been a resident of Durango for about 6 years. She is a graduate of Fort Lewis College. Ceramics is her main area of interest in the art arena. She gets a great deal of satisfaction from working with the framing customer and the variety of subjects, and styles of materials brought in to be framed. She has a good eye for design.
Bill was actually born in Durango and returned here from Southern California a little over a year ago. He has a variety of interests, including drawing. He puts together quality frame packages and is very proficient at his trade.
