What you keep to yourself you lose; what you give away, you keep forever.
~ Axel Munthe
Isn’t it awesome to make something just for you? That feeling when you’re drawing, writing, or creating something and it just clicks—it’s the best! But here’s the thing: keeping all your cool stuff hidden away in a drawer or box means no one else gets to enjoy it. Sure, creating is fun on its own, but sharing it is what really brings it to life!
- This week’s artist is – Jenifer Livesey – a local artist whose work I saw at the Autumn Arts Fest a year or two ago. See more on her website!

- The Writers & Scribblers writing group is for writers of all kinds to learn, practice, and share the art and craft of writing. Their main purpose is to try to help each other through the maze of things you must do as writers; from writing to editing and on to publishing and marketing your books, short stories, essays, or anything else. Discussion topics will vary and sometimes repeat depending upon the needs of the members at the time. They’re meeting at the Durango library today from 6-8.
- Also at the Durango library, tomorrow from 4-5:30 (Thurs) is Adult Crafternoons. Crafting isn’t just fun, it’s fundamental for mental health, relaxation, and happiness! Come and explore their awesome craft supplies each month. This month we are making personalized paper bag luminaries to light up the winter darkness. This is a bilingual event!

Your art deserves to be seen, and there’s someone out there who’s going to love it as much as you do! The world needs (to see) your art.
