Contemplate the good things in your life and be grateful for them.~ Rebecca Pidgeon |
Sometimes it’s funny, the timing of reminders from life. Earlier this week I was in a bit of a grumpy mood. Wrenches thrown into schedules, too much caffeine and not enough food, projects not working out as completed, etc… Just generally feeling a bit dour. Then something (I don’t recall what) made me pause and think about my job. I get to work with an amazing team as we provide an invaluable service to wonderful people. After being reminded of that (and grabbing a bite to eat), I felt much better about the world (and suspect I was more enjoyable to be around).
- This week’s artist is – Efriam Rodriguez – whose work I recently ran across. As my daughter starts playing more, I see her in the children playing/becoming the blocks and really thought that was fun. Be sure to check out his website for more!

Canvases (and other substrates) were finally available at the warehouse, and we stocked up! There’s a variety of canvas, gesso boards, wood panels, MDF panels, and canvas panels currently on the shelf at the store. If you’ve been looking for any particular sizes, or want to try anything new… now’s a great time to get what you need!
It can sound trite, but we really do think that art makes the world a better place. Whether it’s being made or viewed – art can convey messages, lift spirits, brighten a room, and so much more. Above I said, “I get to work with an amazing team as we provide an invaluable service to wonderful people,” and I truly mean that. The crew at the Art Supply House is amazing and I can’t say enough good things about every one of them. You are amazing, as are all of our customers (except for that one grouch ;P ). We’re so fortunate to work with you. Thank you so much for helping make the Art Supply House what it is!
Art makes the world a better place. Your art makes the world a better place. The world needs your art!
Cheers!
Matthew & the Art Supply House crew
