- Also tomorrow, and back at the library from 4-5, is Crafternoons (for Adults!) because crafting isn’t just for kids. And it isn’t just fun, it’s fundamental for mental health, relaxation, and happiness! Follow a suggested project or free play and create your own masterpiece! This space is reserved for adults (17+)
- Concert Hall @ The Park presents The Sweet Lizzy Project Thursday at 5:30 in Buckley Park. Picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs are encouraged and Fired Up Pizzeria and Grassburger will offer a selection of food and beverages throughout the evening.
- This weekend is the 70th annual Four Corners Gem and Mineral Show (Fri-Sun at the Fairground). Sixty Dealers from across the U.S. will sell extraordinary rocks, gems, minerals crystals, fossils, meteorites, geodes, shells, and beads from around the world, as well as jewelry, equipment, tools, findings and MORE! Fun and free activities for the kids, such as gold panning and treasure hunts. Delicious food and beverage service too! The event features large indoor and outdoor exhibition areas; indoor venues are air-conditioned.
- This weekend is also the Friends of the Durango Library summer book sale. Friday and Saturday from 10-4 at the Durango Public Library.

- A few weeks ago we mentioned that we brought in the Montana Colors spray paint line. Well.. that also means that the Montana Cans we had on hand had to go. Those issues mentioned above happened this week. We caught a ride to work and swapped out the donut in the evening. Extension cords run everywhere helped turn the lights back on, literally. While we mixed the specific color we needed in the moment, we bought a new tube the next day.
Fortunately, we’re creative. It might involve a few choice words and a walk first, but we can figure out a solution to the hiccups that happen along the way.
