Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas.
~ Peg Bracken
You’re busy, so today’s email is short and sweet. It’s already been a busy week and the rest of it doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down any (but there are certainly worse things than living a full life). This time of year, it’s easy to get caught up in the rush. Don’t forget to pause and take a breath while looking around. We live in a gorgeous place, enjoy the view!
- Just a quick bit of Christmas-inspired art by Diane Meyer – I love the juxtaposition of the cross stitch embroidery on the photographs. Adding a third dimension to the two-dimensional images is fascinating, especially in todays world of mostly digital-only imagery. If you’re looking for non-holiday art, check out the rest of this series, some of her public art projects, mascot portraits, or long-exposure photos of high school classes.
- As a quick reminder, we’re open today (Christmas Eve) until 4 and will be back with regular hours on Wednesday.
- On New Year’s Eve we’ll be open till 4 and closed on New Years day.
- Hope you’re able to spend some time with family/friends around this holiday time! If so, be sure and follow the advice above – pause, look around, and enjoy the people in your life.
As always, we are grateful for you – no matter what the season. Warm wishes this week!
Cheers!
