Today’s email is going out later than I planned. After a visit to the pediatrician (my daughter’s 4 month old checkup and shots) I headed into the store and wrapped up the new light installed in the frame shop. It’s one of the chores that has been on the todo list since last year and this was a perfect time to make some progress on it. But since we might be allowed to open on Monday, I had to hurry and wrap up!
On Monday, the governor’s office is supposed to be releasing guidelines for retail businesses to open for curb-side pickup. We’re planning on being at the store Monday morning – so as soon as we can meet those requirements, we’ll have art supplies available! Check our FaceBook, Instagram, website, or call for an update.

- Until Sunday, April 26, 10pm, you can order some art supplies, stickers, and other goodies through the local online marketplace that was coordinated by Local First, BID, and the Chamber of Commerce. (Every dollar goes to the businesses represented, including us!)

The opening quote is particularly pertinent for me today. I felt pretty frustrated during my drive home from the store, just after reading the most recent update about not getting the list of requirements to open until Monday (it’s changed about 4 times in the last 2 days.) Then I remembered that it’s out of my hands. We will be open as quickly as we’re allowed and able. The shelves are full and a new order with even more is currently on its way. We’ve done all that we can do, now it’s time to wait.
